LQ9 head gaskets?
Looking for advice on head gaskets. I have an 2003 lq9 with tick performance stage 2v2 cam and all the obvious upgrades to work with a larger cam, once tuned and ready to run it should be around 500 to 550 horsepower.I'm going to run it on motor for a year or so and then boost it, just looking for advice on a head gasket that might work well for both setups or the head gasket that will work well for all motor. Thanks!

317 have a 71cc combustion chamber. You would end up with a 9.91:1 compression ratio with LS9 gaskets.
4.00 Bore
3.62 Stroke
71cc Head combustion chamber
0 Dome or dish... LQ9 has flat top piston
.051 Head gasket thickness on LS9's
4.10 Head gasket bore on LS9's
.008 deck hight.

So you can run the LS9 gaskets on your motor with out dropping the compression much at all. Stock LQ9 compression is 10:1. If you don't think forced induction will happen I would go with a .040 cometic and bump the compression up a bit.
