Critique my build
I'm looking for an upgrade this summer and this is what I have in mind. The car is my DD so I still want to keep it street able but I want a nice bump across the power band preferably in the low to mid range since I hardly go over 5000 rpms.
Anything else you would add or change? I will be adding a stall too but ill save that for another thread.
TSP 228r cam 112 LSA
PRC 227 heads (still not for sure, any other recommendations?)
F.A.S.T. 92 with NW 92 TB
36lb injectors
Racetronix fuel system(F98)
TSP 1 7/8 headers with catted y
TSP ported oil pump

I'd go with small cc heads like 205-215cc heads, and a slightly smaller cam, like the Tick Street Heat Stage 1 V2(225/228 112lsa+3) or another similarly sized cam.

IMO, Better power below 5k.
Furthermore with a smaller cam you can go with a slightly lower stall TC.

Thanks for that info. I don't ever go to the track(maybe one day) and I want power that I will actually be able to feel and use. What kind of rwhp will that give me?

I agree with 99BluZ on cam recommendation and cylinder head
Size. Combo has ability to add 60+ RWHP with attention to detail.
Switch heads to MMS 220s and MAMOFY that FAST 92 add 80+ RWHP

I forgot to mention that I'm aiming for 420-440 rwhp. Will that be attainable with my combo?

I'm curious too... Unless you are not registering the car in CA, the 228 cam usually borders emissions failure in testing. Same goes for LT headers. You can get away with different heads if they visually don't stand out. The 224 cam or less will pass emissions if tuned correctly unless you know someone to pass you.
I'm in the same boat, looking into beefing up an LS1. I have recently seen some good reviews on some cam motion cams.
The combo I'm looking at is,
Cam Motion Titan 4 cam w/
AI high comp 241 heads. Seems to be a good combo for a 346,

I'd go even smaller on the cam. 222/226 113 with some TFS 205 heads. You'll probably have too much compression with that small cam since the TFS heads are 58cc... but it'd be a torque demon.
If you plan on installing a camshaft along the lines of what has been mentioned so far, be sure that you plan your stall converter install to occur at the same time as the cam install. You will need to have the stall converter at the same time the cam goes in if you wish to run a cam like has been mentioned in this thread.
The suggestions here are good ones, and if you would like any further recommendations feel free to call our shop.
