I'm sure the manual wants it done out of the vehicle. I'll probably just get creative with a prybar and hammer to see if I can't smack the rear bolts.

The procedure is shown with the engine in the vehicle........come guyz don't be wimpy.

I already did mine without smacking the bolts with a hammer. No issues.
