Default Offset grinding a LS crank for less stroke

Found many posts on offset grinding a ls crank to increase the stroke but none to decrease it. Now before anybody gives me the old cuin or nothing speech this is for a specific class and smaller cubes means less weight. Looking to destroke a 4.8 crank as much as possible down to 1.88 journal and then have it cryo treated. Has anybody looked into this and where did the oil hole end up. Can get a Callies crank but at 2,000 dollars it would be a real strain on the budget.
