The best timing gear setup for heavy use.
The double-roller install wasn't a problem for me. I had my pump ground down from Rick @ Synergy when I bought it (he does this - I think TSP and HRI may do this as well). I used the spacers that came with the Rollmaster. Everything bolted down no problem. I didn't have to grind the front cover. I did have to bend the pickup tube a little to get it to reach. Then you have to double-check to make sure the pickup isn't too far away from the pan.
I used an install tool, which helped line everything up.
But I understand that may not be the norm and all the extra and time consuming aspects of it may not be great for business. So I could see a shop wanting to go with a single roller.

Not just a shop but most novices also. Different timing setups may even make you grind the front cover esp if using an aftermarket pump OR using a dry sump setup. Cant space a dry sump pump as it has to fit onto the gasket on the pan. So still more need for an hd single.

I agree. A nicer HD chain setup is needed. I went with the DR because of the added strength. I also added the Katech Chain Damper for the LS6 and use an ATI Superdamper Pulley. I really don't want my chain breaking.
