Default LS6 Road Racing Engine Bottom End Clearance Question

Building an LS6 for a Road Racing Stock Car, making power in the 450 range.

My Rod clearance is .0016, spec by the book is up to 2.8. Main is .0015 spec is up to .002. I'm using Calico Coated Bearings, MS2199H mains, CB663HN Rods. For a race engine, should I use the book specs for street cars, or something tighter? (or looser?)

Thanks in advance!

i would use the tighter side of the book spec these aluminum blocks let the clearances open up the hotter they get which makes the oil pressure drop as they get hotter when the car cools down the oil pressure returns there was guy here had similar experiance i believe he was middle of the road of by the book specs would loose oil pressure toward the end of the run 30 min of running he had about 20psi max and would pull off it would jump back to 60 after cooling off
