243 head differences

243 head differences

Looking pickup a set of 243s and get them ported. I know the Z06 243s have the sodium filled lightweight valves. Are all other non Z06 243s the same, no matter what vehicle they came off of?

As far as I have seen or read about only the ZO6 and the Cadillac with the LS6 had the light weight valves. All the other 243's are the same.

They are the same, although some are called 799 castings but in the end they are no different.
