Default Ms4

Anyone running this in a "street" car. I will most likely never see the track but want the "lope" and power. All supporting mods will be done including a 3500-4000 stall (torn on which one still).

Car has LT no cats
Fast 102 intake
NW 92mm tb
volant cold air

Doing new springs, lifters (link bars), timing chain, oil pump, push rods, etc etc. Will be using the STOCK heads for now.

Thanks in advance.

You know you'll have to flycut the pistons with that cam right?

You don't have to flycut with this cam. I would however lean toward the 4000 stall if you are going to use this cam.

Okay my bad...I know some people have had to to do that with this cam so I assumed it was a universal thing. OP what gears do you have?

You can find a better cam for your application. Texas Speed Torquer v4 is one that comes to mind right off the bat since that seems to be your preferred vendor.

I agree. For a street car that won't see the track pick something different. Don't need a donkey dick to have a nice lope.

I actually agree completely with that. I missed the part where you said it will be more of a street vehicle. Pair the v4 with a 3600 stall and it will much more friendly on the street and offer a more broad range of power vs just high rpm power.

Can would be my only Texas speed purchase minus headers which don't get me started in their y pipe joke.

Street driveability is not an issue as it may get 5k s year Mac...only 65k on car now.

Haven't heard of this other cam you speak of. Speed inc is where I was going to order all stuff from as they are localish to me.

Speedinc said I didn't have to flycut pistons... Scared me for a minute.
Thanks again all

3.23 gears currently... Will be at least 3.73 maybe 4.10 when we do rest of work.. Leaning towards motive gears however all my other cars are manuals so this will be first gear change for me.

Just remembered a guy on here is running that cam in an A4. Think he trapped 119 HCI.

Yes and that guy has ported and polished PRC heads and a ported Fast 102 lol. I've seen his car first hand and it's definitely a runner
