It's worse in Europe. Most the countries have crazy taxes on engine size and CO2 levels. Finding an American V8 is either REALLY expensive or you have to troll the base forums for someone offloading parts. (rare)
If you can get an L77 for a good price ****** it up. It's a Gen IV block and 6.0L to boot. Will have the better rods and unless you are running over 700-800whp you'll be fine. Just get rid of the Active Fuel Management.

Just slap a pro charger kit on it and be done with it! 500hp easy...
You need lots of torque to make that boat move out....as in either a stroker (400+CI), boost, or NO2.....pick one of those 3! What gears are you running? That make a HUGE difference in those cars...you need 3.73-4.10s!
