Default Can I Re use these gaskets?

I'm about to start swapping my good 5.3 parts to my 4.8 after melting a piston and breaking the rings on the 5.3. I'm going to swap the cam and lifters into the stock 4.8 as well as the oil pan since mine is already setup for a turbo return.

Can I Re use the felpro oil pan gasket?
Timing cover gasket?
I have ls9 I believe head gaskets. They are multi layer (5 or 6 layers) can those be used again?

I've reused oil pan gasket and timing cover gasket numerous times. As well as valley cover and rear cover gaskets. Even water pump gaskets. But the ls9 gaskets are a one time deal I believe. At least I've never reused them.

The GM service manual says that the oil pan gasket should be replaced; timing cover too.

Oil pan and timing cover gaskets are $30/ea, cheap peace of mind from having to do it over if it ends up leaking. Head gaskets are one time use.

The only gaskets I'd reuse are the intake gaskets, if they're in good shape. If you had torqued down the oil pan and let it sit for a month or two and needed to remove the pan I'd say okay but not after it's been through hundreds of heat cycles. Don't forget the RTV for the seams on the front and rear cover!

Ok, I got a new oil pan gasket, timing cover gasket, water pump gasket, and had gaskets. Should I replace valley cover gasket as well?

Am I missing anything else?

I reuse timing cover gaskets and oil pan gaskets, just with a thin smear of RTV and never had a leak.

Head gaskets and non ARP head bolts are trash once used

Definitely don't have to on the valley cover. It doesn't see a lot of oil.

And the valley cover is easy to replace if it develops a leak.

The way I look at it is if you have the engine sitting on a stand, then it is much easier to install all of that stuff new on the stand than it is to have to replace reused parts in the car.

Should I be able to reuse my exhaust manifold gaskets? They are metal.

Yup. I've reused the same ones that were on my car when I bought it in 06'. That includes at least 6 different engine swaps lol. Just recently replaced them and only because the headers I bought came with a new set.
