I don't want to name drop and bash the guy on here but I'll just say he's in Oklahoma. I also found that he put my LS7 MAF on backwards when he removed and installed it. So my guess is that when he said the car wanted more air and fuel is that it wanted more fuel cause it wasn't getting correct pressure and more air because the sensor couldn't read hardly anything coming in.
