To my knowledge the 01-02 F-bodies received the LS6 (one and only for that time), the Z06 clutch, and some received the LS6 block like mine. It was my understanding that the F-bodies that received the LS6 block merely had different heads and internals.

Well just clarify , when I looked into this a few years back , there where a few guys that were totally convinced that the F- body LS6 was better performance intake than the vette LS6 . I was not able to find anything conclusive to back this up. While many refer to the 3572 as the vette intake and the 1184 as F-body . Like redbird mentioned these intakes have appeared on both cars and vice versa. I don't believe that either one had an advantage performance wise. I would say the claim of F body being better is just an urban myth. As many times in production though parts evolve and or revised, altered or modified. I would not say that these intakes were all the same or identical . Any small difference they had is nothing to lose sleep about.
