what to seal the rocker arm bolt holes on ported heads?

Default what to seal the rocker arm bolt holes on ported heads?

what is the best thing to use on the treads of the rocker arm bolts to seal up the hole on proted heads? i used loctite last time but maybe thiking that wasnt anough as i am getting some smoking since i didnt my new valve seals.

I used teflon paste. But the engine is not in the car yet so I can't tell you how well it's working.

It's the same thing I used for 1000psi nitrous fittings though, and it kept those sealed.

Teflon Paste or it also known as thread sealant.

thanks guys for the fast replay u think the loctight i used might not be sealing it all the way to cause my little bit of smoke?

I've used black RTV with no ill effects.

i used a good bit of red loctite...2k miles & no problems here.

I used blue Loc Tite and no issues here.
