Default Ls1 blue smoke.

To make a long story short a friends car always smoked some with throttle it has 107k on it. We tore it apart and found a puddle of oil in the back of the Intake so we assumed pcv he decided the same time to cam the car. So we did a complete pcv delete and cam springs valve seals etc and I tuned the car. Still smokes. The car does great plenty of power but at wot it will blow smoke. We haven't done a leak down or anything but what are the odds it's a valve guide. I just have a hard time grasping the car needs rings.

With a new stock ls6 pump about 65 cold 38-40 hot.

Hmm weird cause that's the normal oil pressure deal.

Are the heads ported by any chance? Lots of port jobs open the rocker bolt boss up. Which is fine as long as the installer seals the bolts at install. Oil can get past the rocker bolts and into the intake runners that way

Nope heads have never been off the motor. I thought about that but realized it's stock. Is it possible even on a stock head it could be completely through. It's 853 heads for what it's worth.

nah. More likely a valve seal. You could try a compression test before and after putting a spoonful of oil in the cylinder. Higher compression after the oil usually indicates rings. No change would indicate valve seals
