Maybe I missed it? But where are you pulling vacuum from?

Rear of driver's side valve cover. The rubber grommet in there for the PCV was almost perfect. I ended up running a tap through it and then a 1/2" NPT to -10 AN fitting. Fitting on the pump is -10AN also.

So you just threaded the adapter into the rubber grommet then attached the hose to it? And that’s the only place you have it connected? Not Y’ing to the other valve cover?

Correct. Nothing to the other valve cover. Ideally I would connect it to the valley and draw off the crank case, but the cover will not support that kind of flow.

I figure the oil drain holes are big enough for pressure to equalize. GZ just uses the oil fill cap

Gotcha. I plan on having some -10 bungs welded to my valve covers and a -10 bung welded to my valley cover. Obviously not something you can do with your intake setup.

That is a great idea. I originally wanted to do something similar. You will like the upgrade. This is only my second day driving it but so far I like it

Will there be a dyno session to compare with your numbers before the vacuum pump?

You're welcome buddy. Awesome job man! Looks so clean too. Definitely wasn't an easy process. Mine was a little easier with no AC and race EWP for sure. Nice to see it done.

Talk to GZ a bit before you do it. They do NOT recommend pulling vacuum from the valley cover. I was going to do the same thing but they said you will pull a lot more oil from the valley cover than from the valve covers.

I ran mine to a 10an fitting in the rear of both my valve covers and y'd it into the pump. Worked great.

On bigger power cars using the pro pump GZ actually just recommends using a 12an line from the passenger side valve cover but I just didn't like the idea of it so ran a 10an to each valve cover. I set it up on both my cars, one has a pro pump and one has a sportsman pump like Darth.

Ok, I put it in the dyno section too, but here it is...

538/441. But that's not the story. It made the torque curve like a bigger engine. Gained 5 peak to peak but 15 in some places. I think power went up but only from tq carrying.

Best SBE build/street build of a 4th gen in the history of this site. The overall approach to the entire car is astounding. I can only imagine what’s in store when you’re done with the short block.
What does your fuel system consist of?

Thanks man I really appreciate that. Its a hotbwired stock pump. For whatever reason it's continued to keep up. I figured when AFR wouldn't keep up I'd replace it but it's continued to work ok.

I’d imagine your BSFC is lower than most people’s and that’s helping the pump a lot

Darth, that torque curve is freaking crazy! That car must be a hoot to drive!
Congratulations man!
