Default Knock Question

I have an 02 LS1 that is making a funky noise.

I've crawled under the car (ok it's too low so I had to jack it up but you knew what i meant!) and used my mechanic's stethoscope to listen. I can't seem to pick up the noise anywhere except around the bellhousing.

Without the stethoscope, it sounds like a faint rod knock. Not huge, but it's there. The thing is, my oil pressure is fine. Around 60psi cold idle and about 35 warm idle. I would think that if I spun a rod bearing, I would lose my oil pressure. I can't imagine it staying normal

I used the search (like everybody tells you to around here) and found some people having issues with the torque converter bolts being a little loose causing their noise. Since I've had the trans out to fix a rear main seal, I figured it wasn't too hard to believe that maybe I didn't get them all the way tight. Well, After pulling the starter to get to the bolts, I checked torque, and they were right on with spec. My noise is still there

Could a cracked flexplate make this type of noise? Should I be more worried than I currently am?

Hoping somebody In here can help!!
