I just got a box of ARP head studs, should the lube have come in the box or do I have to buy it separately?

Or should I just use motor oil?

It should have came with it but since you dont have it you need to get some to use. We dont recommend using motor oil in place of the lube.

 

My head studs didn't come with any lube either. Luckily I had some left over from the rod bolts. On the ARP site they sometimes list a cross reference for torque values, and they tend to be 10 ft. lbs or so more, for motor oil. Not too sure I'd want to run the torque up that much on the head studs though... The lube would be the best bet.
