Default 408 Stroker Question

Alright guys I Have a pretty simple question. I just picked up my 6.0 for $400 and am about to start taking it apart for a 408 build. I am about to pull the trigger on a TSP rotating assembly but just for giggles I searched on ebay and seen some things that caught the eye(of course). Its a full rotating assembly. Seems like everything comes with except that it needs to be balanced for only $900. Now im not dumb and know what a good rotationg assembly would cost. But does this seem legit to you guys? For that cheap I just have to ask haha.

Well to be honest man you really do get what you pay for when it comes with machining parts. Ive bought and used my fair share of "ebay" parts with some good luck and some bad luck. I will say that the Chinese crankshaft I ordered a few years back when I did a 351w was junk. The crank needed an additional 600.00 in just machining to get right with tolerances. Needed Mallory added (super expensive) and the balancing would have been a nightmare. I would check out ws6 store for parts, which ive found to be the cheapest of anyone who soley sells Ls nature stuff. Theres always jegs and summit too. Goodluck man

I'd recommend Compstar Crank, Compstar Rods, and Wiseco pistons. That's as budget as I would go.
