Default Lsx head removal with studs in car

Anyone ever pull a head with a studded motor in the car?

I have a lsx block that's studded and I'm pulling the driver side head but I'm wondering since the motor is in the car If the head will clear the studs?

Please let me know your thoughts

Thanks!

If you still have your HVAC probably not. But not a big deal. Just remove a few of the studs towards the back of the motor.

I've pulled my heads off with studs while in the car, not a big deal. Like "BLK00ss" said you can pull a stud or 2 if you need the clearence. Don't forget to blow the coolant out of the holes you removed studs from.

No. Just let the coolant sit in the cylinders. Good lubrication.
