The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
My current cam is a 230/238 113 which is also 8* overlap and only 2* smaller in duration. It will be VERY comparable. In a 6.0 its a perfect driver cam.
But I previously ran an EPS version in a ls1 with 799 heads. If it hadn't been for the added compression of the heads I'm not sure I would have liked it. Took a good bit of idle tuning as well so you will need a good tuner. It goes "ok" with a 3600 converter, but you would really want a 4000.
If you aren't looking for the best ET possible and just want a strong weekend warrior that you could still daily drive if you needed to, I would back things down a hair. You'll get better drivability and more strong midrange.
My roommate ran a similar 230/238 cam in his daily driver m6 trans am and then switched to a Cam Motion Titan IV and the car actually drives better and even runs faster since he likes to shift in the 6200rpm range...the larger cam would need to be shifted in the 6600-6800rpm range for max results.
Bigger isn't always better.
Oh and for further reference I'm looking at going a little more wild with my LS2 and I'm looking at a 232/240 on a 112 to do it and am still a little curious if I'll lose enough low end to notice.

FYI....here is when I had the G5x4 with PRC 1.5 heads:
