ms3 cam
ms3 cam I'm sure this has been beat to death but I'm not finding any luck of what i need. don't have enough money for the build i want to do, it'll take awhile. My car is an 02 with full bolt ons. thinking of an ms3 cam. I would do springs, push rods and of course gaskets and new head bolts. My question is, ls2 timing chain and thats all i need? no new sprockets? chain only? also should i do ls6 high pressure or volume oil pump or would i even need oil pump for a cam only, i just hit 80k miles. Fuel injectors or would stock be fine? Excuse my questions if they have been asked many times, thanks advance.
At 80k an LS6 oil pump would be a good idea. I ended up needing 36# injectors. some people manage to get by with stockers. you will need a new balancer bolt also, they're single use.
Well honestly just looking to be close to 400whp I wanna do a boost build later down the road. Just want more power and a lope for now. So ls6 oil pump, high pressure or high volume? Thanks again guys
