I'm looking for a chain that will allow me to advance my cam 4°.

What are my options for them and will I need anything odd to install one aside from the usual tools?

I like the Rollmasters. Comp has a nice adjustable single if that is what you prefer.

 

Which is a better unit? How do they compare price-wise? Is a single chain better than a double?

 

im running a rollmaster double, its a damn beefy unit and i have no complaints. alot of people just dont want to swap the new sprocket over since it requires a bit of extra work but its not bad. off the top of my head i dont remember if the JWIS single chain is adj. but its a nice chain too.

 

The Rollmater is very nice although they just went up in price I think it is around $100. The Comp single is quite a bit more I can't remember off the top of my head. You asked is a single chain better than a double not in my opinion. The single just doesn't require the use of two little 3mm spacers for the oil pump, but like JRP said it is no big deal you are already there.

 

i bought a jwis timing chain, seems to be a nice upgrade over stock, havent installed mine yet, but a freinds using it on his 600 rwhp car and no problems thus this far

 

I am running a Rollamster on my 600+rwhp Car also.

 

A single would probably work fine for me...well south of 600rwhp, I'm looking for maybe 300-325rwhp for now.

Who sells a Rollermaster single chain adjustable? Thanks!

 

The rollmaster single in non-adj out of the box. Its just like the stock chain/gears in function, although the chain is probably stronger.

 

Well damn-the-luck. Are there any single chain adjustable's out there?
