Default anyone have experience with summit brand pushrods?

Picked up a set of summit brand "hardened" pushrods from a friend, specifically these... http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-G6400-LS for 7.4 (7.395) stock LS1/LS6 replacements. Couldn't find much information on them, says for use with or without guideplates, they appear to sell two different styles, a one piece 4130 chromoly summit brand pushrod, and these hardened steel with welded ball ends. For all intents and purposes they appear to be edelbrock pushrods but I cannot find any identifying information on them.

Anyone used these before? Their catalog claims supports 300+ spring pressures for stock to mild build applications but that is vague. Wanted to know if they would be compatible with a .540/.535 cam on LS6 "blue" springs or if they are even worth using over stock.

I do not have experience with that exact item, but have bought many "Summit" branded items. They are all made by major manufacturers and sold in Summit boxes. I have a "Summit" oil pump in my car that is a Melling pump that was sold in a Summit box.

Trend makes most of the pushrods that aftermarkets sell, including Comp (they don't make their own). You could call Trend and ask for tech support then ask the question, or just call Summit and ask who the vendor is. Not too many companies actually fabricate them.

Emailed summit tech support and got this back...

"The SUM-G6400-LS pushrods are an upgrade compared to stock, and will work on applications as described (stock or mildly built engines, support 300+ lb spring pressures). The chromoly pushrods will be even stronger, but we do not have any additional specifications. If your application is higher performance, I suggest going with chromoly.

Also, we are not told who make the Summit Brand pushrods. Many times another manufacturer we sell makes items for us, and they wish to remain anonymous to avoid any competitive advantages."

anywho, this is the package....
