LS1 383 Stroker Risk?

LS1 383 Stroker Risk? Is there any risk to doing a 383 stroker on a ls1? I heard it can be dangerous because of side load on piston and it pulls the piston too far out of the cylinder. I havent been able to find much information about this online other than a video that has talked about this but I dont know if its talking about even bigger strokes.
It will do what a 347 will do but with much more torque. Have your machinest or yourself deburr the bottom edge of the cyls. before final washing/before assembly, this will help reduce the piston skirt wear.

you will lower the total life of your engine, but that should be expected anytime you put performance in an engine. That's why funny cars and the like rebuild their engines after one run. I've stroked my LS1 out to 4.00" and I haven't had any problems, but with that and all of the other upgrades I've put in I'm not expecting more than 100k miles before I rebuild again.
