Got started on the wiring and it doesn't look like much but we have about half the wires where they need to go. All the wires going through the firewall are ran so that's something I can check off the list. All the power and ground wires are run also.

Here's a start. Had to pull the intake for access and to put some fittings on the bottom

Power/ground, lithium battery, 16v, kill switch

I got these nice grommets for running wires through the firewall, metal etc. They're made by Earl's. I got the ones you cut your own holes in.

Battery charging posts outside. That's what this rear grommet is for.

Pic of the panel mocked up. Panel done by Racewire, an awesome piece.

My ID injectors have a different connector than stock so I called Matt Bell at Redline and he got me the right harness. It's on it's way now.

Cleaning the wiring up now

Less wires laying all over the garage now

Ok so here are a few updates. Been crazy busy but haven't been able to get on here.

Currently working on my coolant piping/surge tank hookup, intercooler tubing, vac pump and bracket and procharger bracket

As for the Schoeneck Procharger bracket. It's an awesome setup but something was wrong with my tensioner pulley. It was squeaking and when I tightened it down to the bracket it wouldn't rotate. So I sent it back to Dan and he's having his machinist fix it. Hope it's done soon. Once that's back the bracket will be done.

For the coolant tubing and intercooler piping. I had to mock up the coolant tubing so I could have my neighbor weld it up for me

Here I taped everything up to be welded. I decided to weld part of the tubing to my inline thermostat housing. This was just to clean up the look and eliminate a set of clamps and silicone coupler

Freshly welded up

Test fitting

Painting coolant tubing. I don't know how this paint is going to hold up but I will probably redo the lines and have them powdercoated or anodized later

Painting intercooler tubing

Lower coolant line turned out pretty good. I wasn't sure if I should cut it and add a silicone coupler for vibration in the center but I think I'll leave it for now.
If it ends up hitting the procharger bracket standoff I'll add one there just for that even.

Upper rad hose turned out good too. I'm going to redo the intercooler lines eventually. I kinda want to try 4" after I see how the car performs. Some shops say it's too big but Mr2SS on here made big power on a simple setup with big exhaust and big intercooler lines. And it was more similar to this build prior to the current mods.

After painting and everything I realized the lower IC tubing was too long with the new bracket so I had to take 3/4" out of this and have it welded again. I double checked every other piece and just eyeballed this one for some reason. Probably got tired and wasn't thinking.

Freshly welded

Fits nicely now. Just needs repainted

So on to the vac pump

I drew up a custom bracket for my GZ Motorsports vac pump because nothing else would work. I need to put the pump pretty far from the head to clear the procharger bracket now.
I decided to mimic the procharger bracket design, because it's awesome and because it will match up too and look good

Here's the universal bracket from GZ (right) and my drawings here and just some thin pieces of metal for mock up

The piece that bolts to the head is a pretty good shape from the start.

Then this piece is going to bolt to the plate that bolts to the head with standoffs. Then the vac pump will mount to this piece as a tensioner

Freshly water jetted 1/2" aluminum pieces. I had to make the tensioner bracket a little weird looking to be able to bolt to the head mount

Final head mount piece

Then the tensioner portion will go about here

Outer holes are for mounting this piece to the head. The inner 4 holes are for mounting the standoffs to the outer tensioner piece

It will look something like this. I still need to cut the holes in the outer piece now. Probably will be a little tricky but it's close!!!

Just for fun. I mounted my new front wheels. They match the bead locks a lot better. I like them a lot

Couple pics of the intake all done up and wired and ready to go back on. I had to take it off because all the ports are on the bottom for boost/vacuum. The I just wired everything up while it was off and tried to make the wires look pretty. I will probably shorted the wiring and custom fit it eventually but I just want to get it running.

Well I have some updates but they're going to take awhile so I'm going to skip ahead just a touch.

Two weeks ago got the car on the dyno. Had a mishap with the D1 so decided to go with an F1A-94 and I am very very happy with it. The converter is slipping about 15%. I'm assuming it's bc the car is making more power than we expected so it's flashing a little higher. I may leave it be after talking to a few converter places for the style of racing I want to do.

Here's one of the dyno sheets. I lost the last one but it only made a few more hp.

And I went to the track yesterday and got a few passes in

Car ran real good. Blew the intercooler tubing off that run and coasted to a 9.3. 5.7 1/8. 1.30 60'
