This build has been a pain in my *** since the beginning and it continues to be a pain
1. I had my heads cleaned up at the machine shop which included valve seals and valve grinds. now I have to remove the seals to replace the seats and it appears that the seals were hammered on by the HULK. used some channel locks but didn't budge. Any tips?
2. I also have a front cover that has some damage to the front seal surface. Can I clean it up with some sand paper and then use a thin coat of silicon on the damage upon seal install to ensure a proper seal?
3. I also inspected the block and it appears to have a slight knick in the 5th main cradle that you can easily see and feel. First I was going to see if a bearing would seat properly and if not I was going to lightly sand it and see what happens. Any thoughts?
