Default Using ls7 lifters in my 5.3?

I just bought an 04 5.3 and want to switch lifters out of my ls1. Will I need to change anything else by doing this?

I would recommend installing new lifter trays as well. Other than that, all that is required is new head gaskets and head bolts. I would inspect the valve cover gaskets & intake manifold gaskets as well though those can usually be reused.

Great to hear. Yea I'm going to use the LS7 lifters and trays out of my ls1 build with only 5000mi. Other than moving all the bolt on pulleys and pumps I'm leaving it stock.
