Default Can you reuse the rear main seal?

I know the front always leaks once the balancer has been removed but can you reuse the rear main seal?

I never reuse any seal once removed.. Save yourself the headache and replace it

That’s a lot of work to go back and change it if it does leak.

Make sure to read the directions if you haven't installed a new rear seal, as they mostly sale a reverse lip seal now, it goes in reverse compared to the normal.. is important to install correctly as to not leak.. peace

OP what did you do, change crankshaft, just removed the cover, etc??? I have re-used mine a few times with no leaks.
