lets talk rocker arms Looking for quality roller rocker arms for my build. I have mamo motorsport 235 heads with bronze guides so a stock arm with the bearing upgrade is not an option. Would like to stick with a 1.7 ratio. Have a pretty aggressive custom cam being speced out by tony mamo. I dont mind spending money but if the same performance can be achieved without dumping 1200$ on rocker arms I am not opposed to saving some money.

I second going through Tony. There is a 10mm rocker bolt option that I believe is exclusive to him. Since you're getting his heads anyway...

Ive heard some stories about yella terras, friend of mine also personally had one break and almost destroy his motor.
It might not be exactly what you're looking for, but Comp makes a nice little steel rocker arm for the LS engines. They're a little heavier than an aluminum rocker and they come in 1.8:1, but they are stiffer and fatigue isn't an issue like with aluminum. You can get them in a stud mount too so you don't have to dick around with shims or super accurate pushrod measurements to set up your valvetrain geometry.
I like them so I got the bolt on set, it was only like $345 shipped from one of our sponsors. They're going on a set of TFS heads with a .700" lift cam.

I am surprised that Tony didn't mention his 10mm ones. I am running those and they are quality pieces. If he still has your heads and you go with those, have him drill and tap them for the 10mm bolts before he ships them out. A lot easier having him do them instead of being paranoid the whole time doing them yourself.

The Pro 10mm Yella Terra Ultralite is the only way to go
The stories of failures are many years old and many rocker designs ago! One of the big problems of the Internet is the rehash of old news
To be honest I dont know of a single failure of one of my 10mm units that is exclusive to Mamo Motorsports (beefier stand, hardware, etc.....does require larger bolts threads be installed in the heads).
And as BlackDuk98 just mentioned getting the machine work done on the CNC (so its perfect) while the heads are still in my possession is a no brainer.
Shoot me an email when you get a chance and we can discuss it in more detail....heads are still at AFR and it would be easy to upgrade them now with the 10mm threads etc.
Appreciate all of you that have posted in this thread already....would have been on here sooner if I wasn't trying to enjoy just a couple of days of "down time".....LOL
