Sorry for lack of updates, been too busy on everyone else's vehicles in the shop.
Heads are torqued, ls6 valley cover in, timing cover, poly motor mounts.
Next is AC setup, and Kurt urban steam vent kit.
One of the hoses in the steam vent was missing the threads in a fitting, Kurt took care of it and is shipping another.
Picked up an all aluminum radiator as well, seems like a very nice piece.
My fiancé gave me the switch panel and a 3 gauge pod for the car. Switches will be labeled for nitrous, line lock, exhaust and purge

Hey man, check these switches out on amazon. They fall right into place on those switch panels and are a nice flush aluminum mount and secure in place. Those plastic ones you have will rotate around and that bugged me a bunch. They come in a lot of different colors. I rigged some of mine up on the HSW nitrous panel unsure is the spacing is the same on yours.

Looking good!

Any particular reason for keeping the MAF?

I've been debating this since you asked. Not totally sure really. I got the good deal on the 100mm and always heard bad things about going speed density.
Any opinions?

I've never seen a stock motor have the pistons out of the hole that much.
What gives?
Great build man!

As in your sig you found it is a 383? 3.90" bore x 4.00" stroke.

Hey everyone, so finished up more loose ends on the car and took it for a drive. It's an absolute animal. Car is very strong with no tuning.
One problem tho, after its revved up and the throttle body is shut, there is a loud squealing noise from intake, back of the motor. Goes away while revving.
Does this sound like a leak somewhere on the Fast intake?

Kind of hard to tell, but I know my FAST 102 almost sounds like I have a super charger at idle. It really sucks in the air!

In those last few pictures you posted, what are you doing with your air intake?? Just curious..

Well at idle isn't the problem, but it's a crazy loud high pitched squeal. I listened to all the pulleys and they are all quiet.
This only squeals after revving, throttle is shut and the RPMs are coming down.

The issue with the intake is I'm running the K&N setup, 92 mm TB, 100MM MAF and the filter is oval. I can fit a smushed down 4.5 coupler on the filter.
I need a 22 degree 4 inch coupler, and then a 4" to 4.5" 22 degree 6" long coupler. Checked with silicone intakes.com and they don't have anything. Need to make a couple calls tomorrow

FTRA lid and a stock air box is going to be the best bet.

Well the car is running and driving! Got a rough tune on it since the Fast 102 decided to start a horrendous loud whistle/vacuum leak that I'm waiting on seals for. It was hitting the ARP washers on the head bolts as well. Must be leaking now at top and bottom shell.
Also received my 9 inch from QP. Very nice looking piece. Need to build a center section now.
Went with a fast toys 104mm lid. The couplers still aren't perfect but better than my previous filter setup. Anyone have any tips for a leaking Fast intake?
Also a catch can routing check, the holes in my valve covers have been welded shut since I'm using a LS6 valley cover. Also installed a 4-1 airflow straightener on the MAF and a Vmax velocity ring for the. 92-102 TB.
Over all the car is a beast, can't wait to finish the cut out, LNC-2000, line lock and wideband install.
