Blown 4.8l? noob help I'm currenting looking for a Ls engine to swap into a project car.
I see the little 4.8L on ebay for $400.
drastically cheaper than L33 or LS1s
I have a TVS1900 blower already,
could a 4.8 take say 11Psi safely? (make up for the smaller displacement),
i also plan on using as Meth kit to keep IATs down.

Im not sure about a blower. Ive seen turbo 4.8's take 18lbs like a champ and make like 700. With meth of course. Blowers are alot harder on the engine than turbos since its putting more harmonics to the crank. But I think 11lbs through a blower with meth you should be fine. I would recommend new springs also.
