Default Piston rings

I got some stock size rings after deglazing my cylinders and I have .021" of ring end gap I've read from gm that they recommend .009 - .0149" of ring end gap I'm looking for advice and what rings I should go with because I am new to this build.

.021" is fine, make sure the 2nd rings are a couple thou looser and run it. Actual ring end gap has been shown on the dyno and the track to have significantly less effect on power output than many people think.

Any performance ring manufacturer will tell you minimum of .0045" per inch of bore diameter on the top ring and extra on the 2nd. You're fine.
