What are the plans with the car?

What type of injection, heads, exhaust, tranny, rear gear?

With the stock heads, lower compression LQ4 and stock stall I'm not so sure that's the best choice

That cam will suit you very well with the 4 spd and be very easy to tune.

The cam was designed for stock casting heads. I would however look at bumping the compression with the addition of some FT pistons.

With the stock torque converter, then definitely the BTR Stage I. The Stage II will need a 3000 stall converter.

That's why I asked immediately about corresponding information. It confuses the younger crowd.

Love the Chevelle's we have one that has been in the family for almost 40 years. It recently went through a complete much better than new 10 year restoration with all new NOS GM sheetmetal. True 138 car red over black.

That is the car that stole my heart at an early age. I tell people all the time if you haven't felt a BBC with 12.5:1, muncie m21-22, and 4:10's on bias ply tires, you really haven't experienced life yet.

I've ran than Camshaft in a 67 camaro resto car and it worked well with 10:1 compression.

I'm running the stage 3 in an 02 TA with alot of attention to detail with 11.5:1.

The LS motors respond very well to compression hence why I suggested flat tops over your dish pistons. Best of luck in what you decide.

Call and speak to Brian directly, and let him tell you what to expect. He's a super nice down to earth fellow.
