Default Eagle rods vs. Scat rods

I building a 6.0 and I'm looking at some H-beam rods with ARP 7/16 bolts. I see Eagle and Scat both have the rods I need. Is any brand better than the other? I couldn't find Manley rods is the specs I need. Need 6.100 with .944 pin.

Between those two I'll always pick Scat due to manufacturing and QC/sizing issues with Eagle almost every time.

Better would be what I've converted over to using which are Molnar Technologies rods, but I'm not sure if he makes a 6.098/6.100 rod with a stock pin diameter bushing - I'd have to ask him on Monday.

Im open to suggestions as long as they're h-beam rods in the stock LS2 size. Please let me know if Molnar makes them.

Did you find the source and cause of your knock?

The Scat H- beam Q-lites are interesting because they come in both 6.100 and 6.125 and are so much lighter than all the competetor's at 560-570 grams compared to the 630-660 gram other H beams. Lighter revs faster every time. They're priced reasonable.

If I run 6.125 rods the Pistons will pop out .021".
This with a 6.0 flat tops and 61cc heads, my compression would be to the moon.
Is there any issues with a +0.021 deck height?

Are you reusing the stock pistons? Why not get pistons for 6.125 rods?

Yes that kinda deck height is way to much.

I have new speed-pro pistons with a 1.325 compression height.
I didn't know there were Pistons made specifically for the longer rods. I'm pretty much locked into the 6.100 rods. I really wanted Manley rods, but I can't find them in the right 6.100 with .944 pin. Scat and Eagle were the only two companies that stock these.

Compstar makes one. It's worth it over the others. CSC6100DS6A2AH
