I have looked into having a shop do a H/C/I install on my car as well. $2500 was right around the same. I am in Alabama but there is really only one place near me that can do it.
I've called around and spoke to a few different shops. I have a couple that are at realistic price wise. I have no desire to pay 2500 for install and tune, I'm not cheap but that's just ridiculous

From the previous post referencing AL, you might be a few hours from Addicted Performance on US 411 in Maryville TN. Their number is 865-982-4109. We are working with them now on a turbo build for a customer of theirs. It is similar to the one shown in the links below (turbo C6 Vettte) but with higher boost.
I will be calling you as well, this Monday or Tuesday, before I totally give up on this car, and part it out, or sell it as a 'roller'.
The shops around here want INSANE amounts of coin (> $1700) just to remove and install an LSx engine into and out of a 4th gen f body, with NO OTHER WORK included!!!
I misspoke in my first post, and edited it accordingly. Not sure where I got the number. I double checked with them and they said around $1600 for install and tune. It might be a little more depending on issues they run into. And to answer your question it is TDC Performance in Mobile, AL. They do a good job with their work. There are two other places "near" where I am, and by near I mean around 1.5 hours away. Triple XXX Performance in Pensacola and Mod Mafia somewhere near Gulfport I think. And full disclosure, not trying to name drop, just answering a question. Sorry if I just broke a few site rules.
