Default What heads are these? Craigslist find

I telephoned and the fellow said they were a pair of heads manufactured by a local company. Never heard of them. I thought they maybe be ProComp or Speedmaster. Yeah, I am looking at doing heads this year.

Caption: These are a new Pair of LS1/2 Chevy 210cc cylinder heads. Large 2.02 intake valves and cathedral port perfect for LS1, LSA, LSX LS6 upgrades. 64cc combustion chambers for increased compression and thick decks. They have double performance springs good to .650 lift and upgraded swirl polished severe duty stainless intake and exhaust valves. Decks have been diamond polished and these heads are ready to bolt on and go. Save time and money trying to refurbish an old set of heads as it will cost you just as much. With the right cam, you can get a 60 or more hp gain. Call today.

They look like 243s with aftermarket intake valves (if the 210cc runner size is accurate).

Should there be a serial number stamping if the 243s have been ground off? I cannot tell by eye the difference between a 241 or 243/799 combustion chamber.

That is awfully cheap for heads with all that work. I would say that is a scam. Those pics look like pics found online somewhere. If it is to good to be true it probably is.

I know not a sponsor. I am not selling I am looking to buy for own use and need to ID. GM is not a sponsor here but folks talk about GM offerings all the time.

If ProComp... they are pretty good heads. They flow and make power despite being cheapass Chinese crap. So I don't know if they'll fall apart after a while or crack. But hey, what the hell.

I'd recommend the PRC or TFS As-Cast heads. They are nice and make power. Also they are supported by reputable companies. You pay a little more...

Otherwise, looks for some 243 heads from GM and get them ported by TEA or AI.
