Ls1 rods with ls2 pistons
The floating wrist pin is .943" in diameter. Maybe you can change the bushing in order to make original ls2 pistons work with the pressed fit rod.

This the pic see if this helps the pin is snug in there it has no play up or down just side to side.My neighbor is a retired mechanic and he said all it needs is locks now but I just want to double check? If I do need to go through honing it or installing locks. My budget is tight now thanks for the replies.

When you use floating rods, the locks need to be used to keep the pins from coming out of the pistons since both the rods and pistons have clearance in the pin bores. With the press fit rods, the pins are retained in there by the rod since its a press fit, but the piston should still have clearance in the pin bore. No matter which style you use, the piston needs to have clearance or else it all locks up and you destroy your engine.
As mentioned the press fit rods are sized at .945 and the Floating pins are only .943 or so. You need a soft material for the pin. The powdered metal will damage the hardened pins.
You would be better of using the correct rods. Other wise if there is room the rods you have will need to be bushed for the floating pins.
