Default LQ9 into Ws6

Am rebuilding a lq9 to go in a ws6 which i got as a roller, wondering what of the accessories and brackets can be used in the transam.

I did this swap. Its very easy. Use all accessories and brackets from the LS1.
You will have to drill and tap another bolt hole for the alternator. That will give you 2 bolt holes (instead of 3 like the LS1). Using 2 holes worked just fine for me.

I am in the same process as well with the LQ9. Everything works as stated above. Just have to drill and tap the extra bolt hole for the alternator.

The problem is I do not have a ls1 to take the accessories off of.

is there an affordable kit that includes all the accessories and brackets for ls1 or would I be better off going to junk yard?

I would say junkyard my friend. Or search these forums as folks sell that stuff from time to time. Ebay as well. My first choice would be the junkyard though. Parts from the 5.7, 5.3, and 6.0 are all interchangeable. Fairly easy process.
