Default LQ9 cam and long lasting spring choice

I am swapping my LS1 with an LQ9. I have searched and found some good cams but keep seeing that the springs will need to be changed every 20-25k.

Are their any mild cams with a good spring that will last 50k+? I have a lot of other work to do on the car and would rather hold off if they need to be changed that soon. I doubt I'll need 50k miles worth of time but don't want to feel like I'm on the clock if I'm on another project when the time comes.

Edit: I should have mentioned, this is not my daily driver and will be mostly driven on the street and occasionally 40 miles to work in the summer.

Thanks

lol. I was looking at a TR224 and Comp Cam 918 springs. Any advice on the combo or do you think those will last?

I've had mine in for 5 years now but have only put maybe 10k on them. I don't spin mine to 6500 like a lot of people do, I had my tuner use 6000 as a shift point. Yeah, I'm giving up a little, but I know its less likely to have issues too.

You could use one of the BTR truck cams which uses the LS3 or LS6 springs which last along time. http://www.briantooleyracing.com/tru...ge-iv-cam.html

Thanks for the responses. The truck cam is a good idea, going to look into it.

For now I think I'll just sand/paint the block and throw the LQ9 in as-is. I don't want to hold off on installing the engine. The summer is coming and I don't even know how well the 4l60e does passed 2nd gear. Got to leave enough time to swap the trans if I need to.
