jus built 5.3 from 2004 avalanche going in my 78 Camaro using comp cams thumper ca 54-602-11 used there valve springs for cam. problem I now have is to much valve lash like 80 thou so no preload using stock roller lifters and push rods and stocl roller rockersany ideas

You will have to measure pushrod length. You will probably need longer pushrods.
