Ls3 heads on lq4
Hi I was wondering what head gaskets I need and what head studs?
I'm guessing I use ls3 head studs? And will the stock lq4 head gaskets work with these heads? Thanks in advance

Head studs will need to be for the block. There are two versions for the early blocks and for the later blocks. Plenty of info out there on that if you search.
As far as a gasket, there's a few different thoughts on that. Some say you want to get a gasket with a large enough bore that you don't have the gasket exposed to the chamber. Some want a tighter bore gasket so as not to reduce the compression ratio. Either works fine in my experience.

It is the part number GM uses for 6.0 and 6.2 liter LS engines now.
