Hi sorry if this is wrong spot but I keep hearing that the ls is not your daddy 350 to rebuild and I'm not really looking to rebuild it but hear what I got going on.
I'm doing the junkyard 5.3 twin turbo and I want to open my ring gap up. Now I bought a gasket set Apr head bolts and new rings and rod breaings figured since I'm in there new is better. Anything I should know if I'm just pulling the heads, oil pan,pistons rods out of the motor. This is iron block and I'll hone it my self. I've noticed the crank has tollerences so I'm just going to leave that in there and not mess with it to avoid those issues.
