Default LQ9 NOT on a tight budget

I picked up a 2005 LQ9 the other day and it'll be my first build or swap. The problem is every post, question, or article is on a tight budget. I don't want to go broke doing this but but what would be the best road to 500hp with no budget. Everyday driver.

408ci with LS3 heads should do the trick. There are tons of results in the Dyno section you can look at to get some ideas.

Ok I kept reading those thinking how is that it. I accidentally hit a 5. That's supposed to say 700 hp.

To be clear the posts above would be talking about 500hp at the wheels.

If you want 700hp crank look at this: https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...ls3-heads.html
If you want 700hp at the wheels you better be looking at blowers/turbo/nitrous.

Why 700 horsepower, exactly?

Have you ever daily driven a 700 horsepower vehicle before?

what size cam are you guys using with your stage 1 heads to make that kind of power? those are some pretty stout numbers. im assuming that's with a 402/408. not just a 6.0?
