Default LQ4 NA Stroker Build Block Questions

Hello All - Working on building a 408 NA stroker Lq4 an my question is what block de-burring prep is recommended if any?

I wanted to do the debur before i take the blk to my machine shop for bore an clean up

Any advice is appreciated greatly!

Deburr all the sharp edges.

Thanks KCS any specifics on certain areas of the block or just any sharpe edge in general?

Srry for the dumb questions just never done it.

Inside and out, within reason. You're going to find sharp edges around the machined surfaces. Pay attention to the main caps and the saddles they sit on. I even deburr the drilled and tapped holes for the main bolts.

Also there's a **** ton of casting flash in the lifter galley. I grinded that all down smooth and also I smoothed out the oil drain paths in the lifter galley. Just be careful not to slip and hit the bores with whatever sharp tool u use to grind or de burr.
