Default 1st Design 26918 Springs

Just got around to doing my first LS engine. I have been buying parts over a period of time and just found out that my springs are the early ones that have had problems in the past. These springs have been used and spec wise they check out. On the thread people have said if they last for a while they are fine they usually break within a short time. Should I use these or scrap them?

Generally I recommend Brian tooley springs.
