Default Dumb down measuring pushrods for me

Over the winter Ive been building a max effort 370. Has -11cc wiseco pistons, callies rods, stock crank, arp everthing, commetic .040 compressed thickness gaskets, MMS 235 with hollow valves milled to 56cc, custom grind cam from tony mamo, lunati link bar lifters.

I have invested a ton of money in this motor assembled it myself, unfortunately Im not 100% confident in measuring for push rods and Im not going to tank an 8000$ motor over 200$ pushrods. So who can dumb the process down for me? I soaked the lifters for a long time but its been about a month or two since I assembled the motor so theyre probably no longer pumped up.

What did you do the first time? I used Darth's guide: https://ls1tech.com/forums/generatio...od-length.html

I also didn't pre-soak my lifters or pushrods. There's debate about it, but I was comfortable enough not doing it based on what I read.

what do you mean the first time? the motor is assembled on a stand. I havent attempted to measure because I honestly dont know how.

the thread linked by "brew" should work for you even if you have never done it before. Start with post 14. The first 13 are about the wipe pattern of the roller rocker

Sorry, I thought assembled meant you were done but wanted to take it back apart.

I would start with the wipe pattern before measuring as it will have an impact of the final measurement if the rocker height needs adjustment.

Honestly, if you search for Darth and Vettenuts threads/posts about measuring, you won't need anything else. It can seem daunting at first, but once you are in there measuring it is easy.
