Default Cam Journals

Pulled a cam out of a block and it looks like the journals are pitted in spots. Can it be turned like a crank and remove the pitting and use oversize bearings?

Do you know of anyone (shop) who does this?

I use a local crankshaft grinder to turn cams down, but that's only .002-.003" or so to get the bearing clearance where I want it. To remove some putting, you may need to turn down more but off the top of my head I don't know of any ".010" under" cam bearings.
