Default Push Rod Length

I was wondering if anyone has this set up and can help on the length of push rods I need.
1-PRC as cast 225cc heads
2- LS7 lifters
3- LS1 rockers w/trunion upgrade
4- MS4 cam
5- Fel-pro stock head gaskets

Thanks in advance.

The only way to be sure is to measure. A pushrod tool is cheap, and the procedure is simple. If you need the tool, pm me. I have one that is no longer in use

Get the adjustable pushrod and 8" calipers (cheap from Harbor Freight). Then follow this at post 13:

Easy to do once you get used to it and worth your time.

Welcome to the forums.

As others have mentioned, the only way to be sure is to measure. Some places will even let you borrow the tool for free, or rent it very cheaply.

Make sure you figure out what preload you need. The numbers in the link I posted are specific to his lifters. Yours have a lot more travel, so you have a much wider window of acceptable preload. I tried a quick search for you, but as usual, found a wide variety of responses.

Good deal! Waiting is the worst part. Take your time and post up if you have questions or doubts. One of the experts (not me) will help you out!

Fast 92 with a Nick Williams 92mm, seems pretty standard and proven.

Fast 102 with a Nick Williams 102mm, if it will fit.

Yeah, FAST 102/NW 102 is what I have. There are some other brand tb's available, but I went with what I've seen as reliable and proven over the years. It's not cheap though.
