Default ls cam shaft

I was just wondering has anyone used the jegs performance product ls6 cams I looking at trying one part #555-200580 I think it would be a nice cam the spec's are advertised duration = 285/292 & duration@ .050 is 216/220 lift is 560/560 lob separation is 114 and rpm range is 2,000 to6,000 also trying to find out what kind of idle it would have

most consider that a "baby" cam. while that cam may be budget friendly the base cam is really the 224 . do you have a stick or A4? if A4 do you plan on adding a stall? call a few sponsors & tell them your goals. just guessing i think you should checkout a 228. you MUST upgrade springs. cheers!

-10 overlap. IMO, the idle will be noticeable compared to a stock car but won't turn a lot of heads or shake the vehicle. Shouldn't be a "smelly" cam, either. Will depend on what you are putting it in as well. Dano is right as most would consider this a relative baby cam..but in a 4.8 or 5.3 that becomes somewhat magnified. That is, it acts like a bigger cam in a smaller displacement engine.
