well maybe it works differently in a head than it does on golf *****. I just see a bunch of potholes and think of turbulence, since the engines natural harmonics are going to be whipping/swirling the air all over the place anyways. I can't see any "smoothness" coming from that sort of additional porting. maybe on a flow bench where the air is only flowing one direction, with a constant flow. That doesn't even come close to simulating the actual running conditions with all the reversion and flurry/frenzy actions, plus the acoustics and port lengths and all of that factoring in.
